Sanam Teri Kasam 2 Release Update: Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane starrer romantic drama Sanam Teri Kasam, which arrived in theatres in 2016 but performed less than expected at the box office, captivated audiences with its storyline and performances. This led to the film's re-release. The movie has been winning hearts once again since its re-release in theatres  on February 7, garnering a much more overwhelming response than its initial release. They revealed that the script for Sanam Teri Kasam 2 is ready and announced its slated release date.

Sanam Teri Kasam filmmakers Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru, in a conversation with India Forums, shared exciting updates about the second part of the film. They said, "Toh humare paas second part ready hai, aur we are absolutely sure ke Inder ki kahani kahan ja rahi hai iske baad. That’s why, in the end, when Inder stands near the tree and Suru’s voice echoes, it’s a subtle hint for what’s to come in part 2."

Commenting on the demand for the movie's part 2 and revealing the release date, they added, "Toh ab toh itna ho gaya hai ki part two agle Valentine pe toh laana hi padhega, because is Valentine pe everyone saw part 1. In fact, even the songs are nearly complete."
