Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane’s romantic drama Sanam Teri Kasam has found its way back to theaters nearly nine years after its original release. The film, which first hit the big screen in 2016, has been receiving overwhelming love from audiences since its re-release. This renewed appreciation has prompted actors John Abraham and Arjun Rampal to shower praise on Rane for his long-awaited recognition.
John Abraham, who has closely followed Harshvardhan Rane’s journey, took to Instagram to celebrate the film’s success. Sharing a poster of Sanam Teri Kasam on his stories, he wrote, "Finally... @harshvardhanrane you have got your due!"
Rane, touched by the acknowledgment, responded with gratitude. He shared a throwback picture from 2007 with John Abraham and expressed his appreciation, writing, "Thank you my Sir! I learnt patience, hard work with standards always up and head always down, from you...the OG."

Arjun Rampal also joined in celebrating Rane’s success. In a special post, he expressed happiness over the positive response the film has been receiving. He wrote, "So so happy for @harshvardhanrane @deepakmukut @hunarmukut for this. Harshvardhan has been manifesting this since I have known him. A true example of if you desire something purely with a pure heart, the universe listens. #sanammerikasam." Rane, humbled by the message, responded, "Sir, the fact that you notice others' dreams makes you such a sweet human. Indebted, Sir!"

The re-release of Sanam Teri Kasam on February 7, 2025, has been met with an enthusiastic response. The film’s producers took to social media to share their excitement, stating, "WOW, WHAT A DAY!!! We are completely overwhelmed by the response to #SanamTeriKasam on its FIRST DAY BACK IN THEATRES!!! The love and support you’ve shown is truly UNBELIEVABLE! Tickets are selling out fast and the energy in the theatres is ELECTRIC!"
