Former Indian tennis star Sania Mirza has shared her first Instagram post since the announcement of her divorce from Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik. The end of their high-profile marriage, which had garnered significant attention in both India and Pakistan over the years, followed Shoaib's subsequent marriage to actress Sana Javed.
Sania took to Instagram at midnight on January 26 to post a concise and reflective message along with an image of herself looking into a mirror. Her family, confirming the separation on social media, stated that Sania and Shoaib had been divorced for 'a few months now.'

She wishes Shoaib well for his new journey ahead!," read the statement issued by Mirza's family. Adding, "At this sensitive period of her life, we would like to request all fans and well-wishers to refrain from indulging in any speculation and to respect her need for privacy."
