In a shocking turn of events, veteran actor Satish Kaushik passed away after suffering a heart attack on March 9, that is, today. The actor complained of uneasiness after celebrating Holi with friends and family in Delhi. He was then taken to the hospital but was pronounced dead when he arrived.
Satish Kaushik, who was 66 years old, is survived by his wife Shashi Kaushik and their 10-year-old daughter Vanshika Kaushik. The legendary actor lost Sanu Kaushik, his two-year-old son, in 1996. After 18 years of marriage, Satish welcomed his daughter Vanshika in 2012 at the age of 56. Vanshika was conceived by means of a surrogate mother.
Now, remembering her father, Vanshika has shared a heartfelt picture with him. The picture saw her wrapping arms around her father, as the duo flaunt their million-dollar smile.

The post made Satish Kaushik's fans emotional, as evident from the reactions in the comments section. An Instagram user wrote, "Rest in peace! We lost a great actor today. Hope you all get the strength to recover from this loss," while another one commented, " Stay Strong Bachaa." A netizen commented, "We lost our most beautiful, laughter pack calender," a fan also wrote, "He will be missed. May God give you and Shashi aunty strength in this difficult time. My deepest condolences. Om Shanti," and others also dropped emotional reactions.
Marking his last Instagram post before death, on Holi, that is, March 8, Satish Kaushik dropped a series of pictures which saw him partying with Javed Akhtar, Ali Fazal, Richa Chadha, and more friends. Sharing the pics, he wrote, "Colourful Happy Fun #Holi party at Janki Kutir Juhu by @Javedakhtarjadu @babaazmi @AzmiShabana @tanviazmi met the newly wed beautiful couple @alifazal9 @RichaChadha wishing Happy Holi to everyone #friendship #festival #Holi2023 #colors."
