Satyaprem Ki Katha Box Office Collection Day 19: 'Satyaprem Ki Katha' hit the theatres on June 29, marking the reunion of the popular duo Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani after 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.' Fans adored their chemistry on screen, resulting in an impressive opening weekend collection. Although the film's earnings saw a drop afterward, it has somehow managed to progress towards the Rs 80-crore mark.
'Satyaprem Ki Katha's daily earnings are currently experiencing a downward trend. Even though the film has managed to surpass its production cost, it is losing its charm among the audience after 19 days of being released, resulting in a dip in its earnings. Despite a surge in business during the third weekend, the film failed to maintain its momentum during weekdays.
On Monday, July 17, the movie amassed only Rs 85 lakhs with an occupancy rate of 10.83 per cent in Hindi-language screenings. The total collection of the movie now stands at Rs 78.11 crore.
On July 11, Kartik took to Instagram and posted a message to express his gratitude to his fans for the film's initial achievements. He disclosed that the movie has surpassed the Rs 100 crore mark globally and conveyed his appreciation, saying, "Thank you for 100 cr ka Love (white heart and folded hands emojis). #SatyaPremKiKatha.
About Satyaprem Ki Katha:
Apart from Kartik and Kiara, the film also features acclaimed actors such as Supriya Pathak Kapur, Gajraj Rao, Siddharth Randheria, Anooradha Patel, Rajpal Yadav, Nirrmite Saawaant, and Shikha Talsania. The film is a collaborative project between NGE and Namah Pictures.
Will Satyaprem Ki Katha Join Rs 100 Crore Club?
Despite losing its steam, 'Satyaprem Ki Katha' has managed to crawl its way to surpassing Rs 75 crores at the box office. This achievement solidified its position as another successful film in the year 2023. However, as the film's current performance at the ticket counters remains stagnant, it seems challenging for it to enter the coveted Rs 100 crore club.
