Jana Nayagan Trailer: A humiliating detail in the trailer for Vijay's upcoming movie, Jana Nayagan, has greatly disappointed people on the internet. One of the scenes appears to have an AI watermark that the trailer editor neglected to remove. The actor turned politician was portrayed as a police officer seeking retribution in the trailer, which was released on Friday. The trailer opened with a shotgun being cocked. The Google Gemini logo was visible in a small portion of the image, as seen in screen grabs posted on Twitter by several accounts.
Jana Nayagan trailer showcased the logo at 00:23. The Gemini AI logo is prominently shown in the lower-right corner of the brief image, which shows a man brandishing a machine gun. Considering the size and star value of the film, many moviegoers thought this was a simple oversight.

The Daily Jagran checked on January 4 at 10:30 AM and the watermark still exists.
Thalapathy Vijay's fans and followers support the usage of AI, a greater portion of the general public, however, is dissatisfied with what they perceive to be a reckless reliance on AI for a straightforward shot that could have been practically filmed. Many called it 'beginners mistake' others called the makers lazy.
A user wrote on X, "This is so embarrassing." Another user wrote, "Can’t believe they really using Ai for 400cr budget movie." A third person said, "No wonder Vijay is switching to politics." Concerns over post-production quality control were also raised by the makers. It remains to be seen how the creators will react to the strong criticism.
