Shah Rukh Khan has been making headlines for his health-related issues this year. Recently, several reports claimed that the superstar has gone to the US for eye surgery. However, the actor was spotted in Mumbai on the 31st of July at Siddharth Anand's birthday bash. SRK was seen wearing black sunglasses amid the surgery rumours. Shah Rukh rocked the casual look by wearing a black T-shirt, blue jeans and a denim jacket. He was guarded with heavy security. He made a high ponytail to complete his look. King Khan was seen exiting the birthday bash from the backdoor of a Bandra restaurant.

In July, Shah Rukh Khan was seen attending the wedding ceremonies of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. The actor was seen with his family attending the functions. Shah Rukh and his wife Gauri Khan also went to meet their old friend Farah Khan after she lost her mother. 

On the work front, Shah Rukh will be next seen in King. Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, the movie will also feature his daughter Suhana Khan marking her theatrical debut. It has been co-produced by his banner Red Chillies Entertainment and Siddharth Anand's Marflix Pictures. King will also star Abhishek Bachchan playing the role of a villain. 

Shah Rukh was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki. The movie also featured Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Anil Grover, Vikram Kochhar, and Boman Irani in pivotal roles. Released on 21st December 2023 in theatres, the film is currently streaming on Netflix. In the same year, he was also seen in Jawan and Pathaan. Atlee Kumar’s directorial also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Ashlesha Thakur, Sanya Malhotra, Amritha Aiyer, Priyamani, Riddhi Dogra, Sunil Grover, Lehar Khan and Sanjay Dutt in key roles. Released on 7th September 2023 in theatres, the movie is currently streaming on Netflix. In Pathaan, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Nikhat Khan and Dimple Kapadia played significant roles. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the movie was released on 25th January 2023. It is currently streaming on Prime Video.
