Shah Rukh Khan is set to make his debut at the Met Gala 2025. If reports are to be believed, it will mark a historic moment for Indian cinema. As the world gears up for the biggest fashion night on May 5 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Instagram account Diet Sabya confirmed the news of SRK being part of the Met Gala this year. It was also hinted that SRK will be walking the red carpet in an outfit by India’s most celebrated designer.

Anonymous fashion Instagram account Diet Sabya confirmed the news of Shah Rukh Khan's Met Gala Debut. The post read, "National headlines. Threads in meltdown. Entertainment sites foaming at the mouth. Twitter frenzy et al. Time to shut it down lol. We at DietSabya can confirm: yes, that is indeed SRK — India's undisputed generational superstar — making his Met Gala debut in May 2025, wearing Sabyasachi (India's biggest luxury brand). But wait, was there ever a doubt? Are we excited? Or…? Catch you on the carpet.”

The post quickly went viral and SRK fans flooded the comments section. One user wrote, "This is what dreams are made of." Another user commented, "King is going to serve the hottest look. MET isn’t ready for it."
As per reports, also making their debut at the Met Gala this year is actress Kiara Advani and Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh. He will reportedly be attending the fashion event as a Google Pixel ambassador.
Previously actors like Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra graced the event with Indian touch with their presence. King Khan of Bollywood will make history by representing his fashion game as the first Indian male superstar to walk the red carpet.
All About Met Gala 2025
The fashion's much-awaited night of the year will be held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on May 5. The theme for this year is Superfine: Tailoring Black Style. This is inspired by Monica L Miller’s book Slaves to Fashion, which shows the cultural and political influence of Black dandyism and the styling of Black identity.
