Shah Rukh Khan in Marvel Cinematic Universe: SRK fans can't keep calm after reports emerged of him joining Marvel Studios for a role in a future project. If rumours are to be believed, Shah Rukh Khan will soon be making his Hollywood debut. It all started after a post by a popular Marvel scooper went viral, sparking excitement among the audience. However, he is not expected to be a part of the highly anticipated movie Avengers Doomsday.

Shah Rukh in talks with Marvel

Marvel Leaks on X ignited speculation about Shah Rukh's potential entry into Hollywood. Sharing an image of the Bollywood actor, the post read, "NEWS/RUMOR: Shah Rukh Khan ( SRK ) is Rumored to be in early talks with Marvel Studios for a role in a future project ( NOT AVENGERS DOOMSDAY )."

The rumours first started circulating after Captain America: Brave New World fame Anthony Mackie picked Shah Rukh's name among Bollywood actors to join the Avengers in February this year. He lauded the superstar by calling him "the damn best". Mackie also said that he would like to fly with him to an island in India, referring to his film's story of the emergence of an Eternal in the Indian Ocean, which gave rise to the superhero or villain emerging from India. Not only he but actor Benedict Cumberbatch has shown his belief that Shah Rukh would be a contribution to the world of Marvel. 

If rumours turn out to be true, SRK will join the list of Bollywood actors already a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe including Farhan Akhtar, Harish Patel, and Mohan Kapoor. Although Marvel has not confirmed Shah Rukh Khan's involvement yet and neither has the actor. But the rumours have surely sparked anticipation.

About Avengers Doomsday

Russo Brothers recently shared the first official photo from the movie set with a tease. They also revealed that the production is underway in the UK. The image, created a buzz after witnessing the director's chair with the words 'Victor Von Doom', which appears to be Robert Downey Jr to shoot his scenes and make a marvellous return as Doctor Doom. Avengers Doomsday is scheduled for a theatrical release on May 1, 2026.
