Avengers Doomsday Update: Marvel is all set to take Avengers fans on a new ride with an old vibe added to it in the upcoming chapter, Keeping viewers on their toes by dropping hints and behind-the-scenes glimpses, makers are leaving no stones unturned to take excitement to next level. In a major update, Russo Brothers, Joe and Anthony, have shared the first official photo from the movie with a tease. The picture shows the director's chair with the words 'Victor Von Doom', suggesting that Robert Downey Jr may be among the first on set to shoot his scenes as Doctor Doom.

Fans believe the brown panelling in the background of a behind-the-scenes photo might feature the X-Mansion, hinting at a possible crossover between Doctor Doom and the original X-Men. Check out the Russo Brothers' Instagram post below:

As per reports, Doctor Doom will be the main antagonist in Avengers Doomsday.

Avengers Doomsday Cast And Crew

The upcoming movie from the popular franchise will feature a mix of familiar Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) faces and newcomers from the X-Men and Fantastic Four. The star-studded cast includes Chris Hemsworth reprising his iconic role of Thor, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, along with Anthony Mackie (Captain America), Paul Rudd (Ant-Man), Letitia Wright (Black Panther), Simu Liu (Shang-Chi), and Winston Duke (M'Baku), among many others.

Makers are also coming up with the inclusion of X-Men actors including Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, James Marsden, and Rebecca Romijn in the upcoming superhero film.

Not only them, but the cast from The Fantastic Four franchise will also join the film. The actors include Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Joseph Quinn.

Written by Michael Waldron and Stephen McFeely. It has been helmed by Anthony Russo and Joe Russo. The producers of the film include Kevin Feige, Anthony Russo and Joe Russo.

Avengers Doomsday Release Date

The movie is slated for a theatrical release on May 1, 2026. Makers have officially started shooting in the UK. The team has remained tight-lipped about the plot details, but early teasers hint at an epic Multiversal storyline. Fans can't wait to witness this on the big screen. Eagerly wait for more updates.
