Shehnaaz Gill, who shared a special bond with the late actor Sidharth Shukla, recently opened up about her feelings for him in an interview with Farah Khan. Even though the duo never publicly acknowledged a romantic relationship, their chemistry was widely cherished, and they were fondly called ‘SidNaaz’ by fans.

During the chat on the show Fun With Farah, Shehnaaz admitted that she used to be extremely possessive of Sidharth. The actress recalled that her possessiveness stemmed from his good looks and charming personality. “I was possessive because he was handsome. If someone is so good-looking, it’s natural to feel insecure and possessive,” Shehnaaz revealed. She added that, while she doesn’t care much about looks, she would get jealous easily as a girlfriend.

Their undeniable bond blossomed during their stint in the reality show Bigg Boss 13. Although they never confirmed being in a relationship, their connection was palpable both on and off-screen. After Sidharth’s unexpected death due to a cardiac arrest on September 2, 2021, Shehnaaz paid him a heartfelt tribute by releasing a music video titled Tu Yaheen Hai. She also made a special appearance during the Bigg Boss 15 season finale, dedicating a performance to him.

In the interview, Shehnaaz spoke candidly about the qualities she desires in a life partner. She described herself as an alpha woman and mentioned that she dislikes when a man pays for her. She aspires to have a partner who is her equal, both financially and professionally. Sharing her thoughts on marriage, the actress stated, “I envision my life with the same man forever. I am very loyal, and I believe fate plays a big role in relationships.”

Since Sidharth’s passing, Shehnaaz has been focusing on her career and making her mark in the entertainment industry. She starred in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, directed by Farhad Samji, alongside Salman Khan, Venkatesh Daggubati and Pooja Hegde. The film allowed Shehnaaz to showcase her talent and gain further recognition in Bollywood.

More recently, she appeared in Thank You For Coming, a film featuring Bhumi Pednekar, Dolly Singh, Kusha Kapila, and Shibani Bedi. The movie was well-received and premiered at the 46th 2023 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), marking another milestone in Shehnaaz’s flourishing career.
