Shraddha Kapoor is enjoying a moment of appreciation and fulfilment in her career following the grand success of Stree 2. The film, where she starred alongside Rajkummar Rao, has reaffirmed her talent and catapulted her popularity, bringing her to a place of professional validation. In a recent chat with Hindustan Times, Shraddha opened up about her journey to this point and the lessons she’s taken from the ups and downs along the way.

For Shraddha, Stree 2 has been a career milestone. Rather than detaching from the attention and praise, she’s choosing to embrace it wholeheartedly. "I am not detaching from anything. I'm soaking in all the love. I'm soaking in all the admiration,” she shares, explaining how grateful she feels for her audience’s support.

Reflecting on the path to this success, Shraddha acknowledges that it’s been a mix of hits and misses. Her 14-year career includes projects like Aashiqui 2, Haider, Ek Villain, and Chhichhore, where some films were box office successes and others weren’t. However, she views failures as invaluable experiences, saying, "Failure is a very important stepping stone towards success. My journey has had its ups and downs, but it has led me to this moment right now."

Stree 2 isn’t the only recent achievement for the actor. She recently became the second-most followed Indian celebrity on Instagram, with an impressive 91.8 million followers. This milestone puts her ahead of popular figures like Priyanka Chopra and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. While some might feel pressure under such public scrutiny, Shraddha doesn’t let it weigh her down. Instead, she cherishes the chance to impact others positively, saying, “When somebody tells me that I have positively impacted them, that makes me feel very happy.”

Beyond work, Shraddha has a special connection to Delhi, having visited the city multiple times recently. For her, it’s a place filled with childhood memories, from exploring areas like Karol Bagh and Rajinder Nagar to spending quality time with family. The city holds a deep, sentimental value for her, almost like a second home.
