Shreyas Talpade Interview: If you watched Pushpa; The Rise, you might know that Shreyas Talpade voiced the Hindi adaptation of the Telugu movie. Years later, he once again dubbed for Allu Arjun's character Pushparaj in Pushpa 2: The Rule. The sequel, which opened to positive reviews, was released on December 5th. Speaking exclusively to Jagran English, Shreyas Talpade spoke about the response he received for dubbing after the release of Pushpa 2. In the same conversation, he called Allu Arjun his 'twin from his past life.'
Shreyas Talpade recently revealed that he had not met Allu Arjun. We asked him if meeting the Pushpa 2 actor would have made the dubbing process easier, shortly after this revelation went viral. Not sure how to answer this, Shreyas exclaimed 'maybe.'
Speaking about the creative liberty he had in the dubbing studio 'without' Allu Arjun, he said, "There are pros and cons to everything. You know for example if someone would’ve been dubbing my film and if I would’ve been there, there’s a possibility that I might say 'acha yeh mat karna, aisa aisa karna or yeh aap acha kar rahe ho yeh karo' so there are pros and cons to everything. In a way, I feel, as an actor the freedom and independence you have sitting in the dubbing studio and creating something on your own has its own advantages."
Calling Allu Arjun his twin, he added, "Having said that I feel me and Allu Arjun are some twins from past life because there has to be some connection from the past life, considering the way it fits, my voice to his visual, it has to be some past connection so if we would’ve done it together, it would’ve been the same magic (sic)."

Shreyas Talpade On Response After Dubbing Pushpa 2
"I’ve seen Pushparaj’s journey, so I know what his journey is like, what his vulnerabilities are, what are his strength. In the second part, there was extra swag, extra confidence because we’ve come from Rise to Rule so his body language was different that had to come out in the voice as well so that is what I essentially did (sic), " stated Shreyas.
The actor recalled the time when Pushpa: The Rise became a hit and how he was appreciated for his dubbing. "I am still kinda amazed because you do not expect, for someone who dubbed for a film to receive that kind of appreciation (sic), " Shreyas Talpade continued.
The Housefull 2 actor revealed that people are going to theatres and yelling his name also as the sequel continues to set new precedents. For those who are unaware, Pushpa 2 crossed Rs 800 crore worldwide within four days at the box office.
