Sikandar Box Office Day 1 Prediction: Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna's hugely-awaited action drama Sikandar is all set to hit the big screen on March 30, Sunday. The movie, directed by AR Murugadoss, released a day before Eid. 

Sikandar makers are treating this action-thriller as a huge opportunity to score big at the box office. According to the reports, Sajid Nadiadwala's production is set to be the biggest Bollywood release in India this year.

Sikandar is expected to be released on more than 5500 screens nationwide and receive more than 22,000 showings, the most ever for a Bollywood movie, reports industry tracking website sacnilk. Over 19,000 events are already available for online booking, and an additional 3,000 shows will be added to theaters that do not allow online booking.

Sikandar's Sunday release is its greatest advantage, aside from Salman Khan and AR Murugadoss' collaboration. Heavy on-the-spot bookings are a hallmark of Salman Khan's movies, particularly in B and C centers. Due to its Sunday release, Sikandar will benefit from strong on-the-spot reservations. Additionally, it faces no competition, which helps the action drama achieve a huge nationwide show count of 18,000 to 20,000.

Sikandar chose the uncommon path of a Sunday opening, however it will benefit from the Eid holiday on Monday. Chhaava, on the other hand, started at Rs 31 crore net in Hindi after a regular Friday release. 

Sikandar is anticipated to have excellent spot booking, which is likely to carry it above 30+ crores net and beyond, which is a terrific start, even though the pre-sales trend predicts a 25-30 crores net opening.

Rashmika Mandanna, who has been dubbed a 'lucky mascot by many because of her recent box office success with Animal and Pushpa 2, is part of the cast. According to industry insiders, Sikandar is expected to be a huge hit and might help Salman Khan join the Rs 500 crore club.

Sikandar has a good chance of matching or even surpassing Chhaava's opening thanks to its festive release and Salman Khan's fame. However, how the public reacts on the day of release will determine the final conclusion. On Eid, we'll see if the movie signals the comeback of Salman Khan's supremacy.
