Jung Hae-in also opened up about his experience working on the romantic comedy Love Next Door, where he portrayed the introverted architect Choi Seung Hyo.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Jung Hae-in revealed his fondness for Bollywood and mentioned that he enjoyed watching the 2009 film 3 Idiots, starring Aamir Khan. He shared that the film left a lasting impression on him and that he would love to be part of a Bollywood movie if the opportunity arises. "I’ve seen 3 Idiots and I remember enjoying it. If given the opportunity, I’d love to visit India and maybe even appear in a Bollywood film someday," Hae-in said during the interview.

While discussing the type of projects he is interested in, Jung Hae-in expressed his desire to take on roles that combine action and romance, showing his eagerness to explore different genres. Jung Hae-in also shared his experience working with actress Jung So-min on Love Next Door. He described their collaboration as a creative and enjoyable process, where both actors worked together to bring balance to their characters. “It felt like we were constantly creating scenes together. The actor further mentioned that the warm and affectionate atmosphere of the drama made him feel "healed" during the shoot. He also revealed that Love Next Door is the project that brought him the most laughter during filming.
