Sobhita Dhulipala has been making headlines for quite some time now for her personal and professional life. Recently, there has been buzz that the actress will be appearing in Ranveer Singh’s Don 3. Reports suggest that Sobhita is in talks with Don 3 director Farhan Akhtar and held a few meetings with him. It also stated that Akhtar had approached the actress for doing an item number in the movie. As per reports, this item song will showcase Sobhita in a different avatar.
A source told Zee News, “Sobhita who has left the audience impressed with her versatility is now planning to do something that she has not done before and it looks like Don 3 is the answer for her. Going by her oomph and persona she will play the perfect attraction in the film. We have learnt Farhan Akhtar has approached Sobhita to do an item song in the film as he is very much convinced she will ace it like no other actress.”
“The talks are on and we haven’t learnt about the conclusion, but Sobhita has had a few meetings with Farhan and the team,” the source added.
Don 3 is one of the most anticipated movies for quite some time now. As per reports, the shooting of the movie will begin in 2025 and it will be released in the same year. Helmed by Farhan Akhtar, Don 3 will feature Ranveer Singh and Kiara Advani in lead roles.
Don 3’s announcement starring Ranveer playing the lead has disappointed several fans of the franchise as they wanted to see Shah Rukh Khan as Don again. However, amid the fans' concerns, Farhan Akhtar told BBC Asian Network, “I’m just really looking forward to get it going. I mean Ranveer is amazing. He’s great for the part. He’s also as you can imagine, really excited and really nervous, about the thing you’re filling some big shoes before you. But we went through the same emotional process when Shah Rukh did it and everyone was like ‘Oh my God, how can you replace Mr. Bachchan?.’ That whole thing happened then.”
