Actress Sonam Kapoor and her entrepreneur husband, Anand Ahuja, have organized a private dinner gathering at their Mumbai residence, hosting former England football team captain David Beckham. The event is anticipated to be highly private, with a limited number of guests invited. For the uninitiated, David's current visit to Mumbai is linked to his association with UNICEF, and there are prospects of him meeting the members of the Indian film industry.
According to a report in ANI, "David Beckham is in India for his UNICEF commitment as a Global Ambassador and he will be meeting Sonam and Anand during his trip to Mumbai. The power couple will be hosting David when he is in Mumbai and have invited the crème de la crème icons of the city for a dinner at their residence."

The report added, "It is a very private affair. We are hearing only 25 people have made the cut for this grand soiree."
Beckham is expected to attend the first semi-final match of the ongoing World Cup between India and New Zealand at Wankhede Stadium.

Recently, Beckham made a trip to Gujarat with the aim of gaining insights into the ongoing activities and supporting the cause of advocating for child rights and gender equality.
