South OTT Releases This Week: OTT streaming platforms such as Netflix, Prime Video, JioHotstar and others will offer a new collection of South movie and web series from April 21 to April 27. This week's OTT releases include the recently released the Malayalam blockbuster L2 Empuraan, starring Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran, Tamil movie Veera Dheera Sooran, starring Chiyaan Vikram and many more.
This list of popular South Indian OTT releases promises to have something for everyone, whether you're searching for an action-thriller or just want to watch it for your favorite actors in the South.
South OTT Releases This Week (April 21 To 27):
Veera Dheera Sooran

Set against the backdrop of a Madurai temple festival, Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2 tells the tale of Kaali, who is forced to face his criminal past when Periyavar Ravi, his previous crime leader, reappears. Kaali makes an effort to lead a tranquil life with his family, but when his loved ones are in danger, he is pulled back into the deadly world of crime.
The Tamil movie explores issues of retribution, family, and the fuzziness of morality. Kaali faces a dangerous task that could alter everything as he fights to keep his family safe.
Tharunam

Arjun (Kishen Das), a CRPF officer, meets Meera (Smruthi Venkat) during a wedding while he was on a sabbatical. Meera is coping with her neighbor Rohit's (Raj Ayappa) brazenly one-sided romantic approaches as Arjun and Meera's romance simmers. One such incident involves Meera losing her composure and killing Rohit. Arjun and Meera now have the task of hiding the murder.
Otha Votu Muthaiya

Muthaiya is a patriotic political party member who aspires to marry off his three sisters to three brothers who are suitable. What does Muthaiya's future hold, despite the fact that his political career is facing increasing obstacles? In his first motion picture appearance in nearly a decade, Goundamani plays the titular character in Otha Votu Muthaiya. The seasoned actor portrays a well-liked politician who, at the start of the movie, has lost the election by a single vote.
Ayyana Mane

The focus of the upcoming Kannada thriller series is Jaji, a recently married woman who discovers a secret linked to a revered Kondayya idol and a string of unexplained deaths in her family. She embarks on a journey for the truth after an untimely death in her family.
L2 Empuraan

The movie is a follow-up to the popular 2019 movie Lucifer. Mohanlal made a reappearance in it as Stephen Nedumpally, also known as Khureshi-Ab'raam. With a longer on-screen appearance, Prithviraj returned to his role as Zayed Masood. Lyca Productions, Aashirvad Cinemas, and Sree Gokulam Movies are the producers of L2: Empuraan, a Malayalam film scripted by Murali Gopy.
Mad Square

Kalyan Shankar, who directed the first installment, is the writer and director of Mad Square, also known as Mad 2. Alongside Ram Nitin and Priyanka Jawalkar, the Telugu film stars Narne Nithiin and Sangeeth Sobhan. Like Mad, Mad 2 centers on a group of friends who are preoccupied with their own lives but get together for a friend's wedding. The pals, however, are also implicated in a robbery since they cause their fair share of chaos.
