South OTT Releases This Week: From Tamil fantasy horror movie like Kingston, sports dramas like Test to action-packed thrillers to Hometown, a heartfelt biopic inspired from the 90s, there is something for everyone. Streaming services like Netflix, SonyLIV, JioHotstar and more will release these wide ranges of South movies and web series this week.
Here's a slew of intriguing South releases like Test, Kingston, Hometown, Pravinkoodu Shappu and much more from March 31st to April 6th, 2025.

Test
Where to watch: Netflix
A passionate cricket player, a teacher caught between duty and love, and a scientist on the cusp of greatness are brought together by entwined lives, three challenges, and one final test. R. Madhavan and Nayanthara portray Saravanan and Kumudha, who navigate marital issues while pursuing their personal agendas. Both Padma (Meera Jasmine) and Arjun (Siddharth), who are fiercely private, struggle to strike the correct balance between their personal and professional lives.
Kingston

The Tamil fantasy horror movie Kingston hit theaters on March 7. Kingston, a young man from a seaside community where fishing is prohibited because of unsettling occurrences, is the protagonist of the tale. With his pals, he heads out to sea determined to find the truth, only to encounter buried secrets and unforeseen threats.
Katha Sudha
Where to watch: ETvWin
The anthology Katha Sudha, which has Tanikella Bharani, Tulsi, Baladitya, Sonia Singh, Geeta Bhaskar, and others in the key parts, is one of the web series that will be launched in the first week of April. A total of five stories make up the series. The director of "Shatamanam Bhavati," Satish Vegesna, has appeared on Super Vision. Every Sunday, a stream of each story will be available.
Hometown
Where to watch: Aha
The series Home Town will start streaming from April 4th onwards on Aha. This series was produced by Naveen Medaram, who also produced the ETV Win original online series '90s A Middle Class Biopic.' According to the sources close to the OTT platform, audiences from all demographics will be impressed by this series, which is centered on middle-class lifestyle and family sentiments.
Touch Me Not

A group of people come together to solve complicated crimes thanks to a young man who has an uncommon ability to feel things. They are unaware that an unidentified murderer is pursuing them.
Pravinkoodu Shappu
Where to watch: SonyLIV
The investigation of a fatality at a toddy store is the main focus of the movie. On a wet night, eleven people remained inside the store after it had closed, playing cards and drinking. The proprietor, Komban Babu, is discovered hanging in the middle of the store in the morning. The main mystery—who killed Komban Babu and why his body was left hanging—is revealed through the interrogation of those there that evening by a police officer.
