South OTT Releases This Week (Sep 30 To Oct 6): The beginning of the new month brings a lot of excitement for movie lovers as a new set of dramas is scheduled to be released. This week some of the most anticipated movies and web series are expected to stream online. From Yogi Babu’s Tamil movie Boat to Thalapathy Vijay’s The Greatest Of All Time, get ready to witness some entertaining dramas on the popular OTT platforms. Check out the list of upcoming releases of this week on Netflix, Prime Video, Disney + Hotstar, JioCinema, Zee5 and others.
GOAT (Netflix)
Thalapathy Vijay’s The Greatest Of All Time was released in theatres on September 5, 2024. The Tamil movie has been running well at the box office. GOAT will be released on the popular OTT platform Netflix on October 3. However, makers are yet to make an official announcement on the same. The science fiction action thriller movie stars Meenakshi Chaudhary, Prashanth Thyagarajan, Sneha Prasanna, Prabhu Deva and Mohan in key roles.
BOAT (Prime Video)
The Tamil movie is one of the most anticipated movies of popular comedy actor Yogi Babu. The story focuses on how 10 passengers escape from a small boat after it starts shrinking. The movie features Gouri G Kishan, Chaams, Kulappulli Leela, Chinni Jayanth and Jangiri Madhumitha. It is all set to make its digital debut on Prime Video on October 1.
Manvat Murders (Sony LIV)
The web series will revolve around seven murders that occurred in Mumbai. An honest cop takes over the long pending case and faces several challenges. The show stars popular filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker playing the role of the cop. It also features Sai Tamhankar, Makarand Anaspure, Sonali Kulkarni and Kishor Kadam in prominent roles. The Hindi web show will be streaming on SonyLIV from October 4 in seven languages including Marathi, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Bengali.
35 Chinna Katha Kaadu (Aha)
The comedy drama movie revolves around a young mother who faces difficulties after his son fails an exam. After which, it focuses on the testing time of the family. The movie features Abhay, Ananya, Bhagyaraj, Arun Dev, Gautami and Priyadarshi Pulikonda in key roles. 35 Chinna Katha Kaadu will be streaming on Aha on October 2.
Kalinga (Aha)
The Telugu horror film revolves around a young man who encounters terrifying events after uncovering a sinister mystery. The film stars Dhruva Vaayu, Pragya Nayan, Aadukalam Naren, Laxman Meesala, Tanikella Bharani, Muralidhar Goud and Sammeta Gandhi in significant roles. Kalinga is set to make its digital debut on Aha on October 2.
