Stray Kids Changbin recently delighted fans by posing with popular South Korean actor Ma Dong Seok, fueling the long-standing joke about their resemblance. Fans of the Kpop group often refer to Ma Dong Seok and Changbin as "father and son," thanks to their similar facial features. The playful meme came to life when Ma Dong Seok shared photos on Instagram on October 5, 2024, with the caption, “Do we look alike?”
The post immediately caught the attention of Stray Kids' fandom, who were quick to connect it to the humorous meme. Adding to the fun, Stray Kids leader Bang Chan also joined in. The group even recreated Stray Kids' iconic greeting with Ma Dong Seok, introducing him as a new member of the group in a light-hearted video shared from the actor's Big Punch Boxing Club. In a playful twist, Changbin posted the photos on his Instagram with the caption, “Papa?” to which Ma Dong Seok humorously responded, “Son?” with a punch emoji.

Fans were thrilled by the wholesome interaction, which became even more special when Changbin revealed through a message on the fan communication platform Bubble that the meeting had been planned since the beginning of the year. Changbin also shared that they had spent time chatting and even practised some boxing together.
Stray Kids are currently in the middle of their dominATE world tour and are gearing up to release their second Japanese album, GIANT, on November 13, 2024. Meanwhile, Ma Dong Seok is busy with his upcoming projects, including Hive and Twelve. He is also expected to reprise his role in Along With the Gods sequels.
