'Stree 2' was one of the most awaited releases of 2024 and has finally been released in theatres. The movie is the sequel to the hit horror comedy film 'Stree', which focuses on a small town in India being haunted by a witch. The movie is already receiving an amazing response from the audience, who were surprised to see some epic cameos. It was already announced that Tamannaah Bhatia and Varun Dhawan will be seen in special roles but fans were shocked to see Akshay Kumar. The superstar has officially joined the horror comedy universe and fans couldn't be more excited.

Not much details about Akshay Kumar's role in 'Stree 2' has been revealed but the actor will have a significant impact on the film. This also confirms Akshay's future horror comedy movie with Maddock Films. Take a look at how fans reacted after seeing Akshay Kumar's cameo.

In 'Stree', the protagonists had to face a witch, who took away men as she was mistreated by them. However, the witch will turn into a protector in 'Stree 2' to save the villagers from the new demon Sarkata, who attacks women.

While speaking to Film Companion, Rajkummar Rao talked about 'Stree 2' and said, "Same world, same people. It's bigger for sure, same duniya, kuch nahi badla hai, (nothing has changed) I think jo soul this uss film ki vo isme bhi hai.” (the soul remains the same as Stree).

The movie stars Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana. Tamannaah Bhatia is the new addition to the movie and will be seen in a special appearance.
