Sunny Deol Takes Relatives To Task For Filming At Karan Deol's Wedding: 'Aren't You Ashamed'

Sunny Deol Rebukes Relatives For Filming Wedding Videos: Actor Sunny Deol, who is famous for his reserved nature, has surprised his fans with recent promotional interviews for 'Gadar 2.' He has typically been extremely cautious about engaging with the media. This unexpected change in his behaviour might have been influenced by the exposure of private videos from his son Karan Deol's recent wedding, which showed a different side of his personality. Sunny, who has been vocal about his disapproval of social media on multiple occasions, recently discussed his son's wedding on 'Aap Ki Adalat.'

The actor expressed his disappointment with certain family members who were staying at their residence and sharing photos and videos from the events on social media. He conveyed his frustration, mentioning, "I was very upset with some of my relatives. I scolded a couple of them for recording videos inside the house. I said 'Aren't you ashamed?'"

Although Sunny initially felt upset, he later realised that every guest was capturing videos, and it was impractical for him to prevent everyone from doing so. He explained, "When the functions were happening, I saw there were videos being recorded everywhere. So, then at the end of the day, I said, 'Let it be, I can't do anything about it'."

Sunny further discussed social media, characterising it as a platform employed by anonymous people who show little consideration for the emotions of others. He remarked, "Since the time social media has come in, all the jobless people have gotten a tool in their hand because it’s all anonymous so they can just say whatever they want. They don’t think about how it hurts people, they just think about themselves."

Sunny's son, Karan Deol, tied the knot with Drisha Acharya in June. Images and videos from their week-long wedding celebration circulated widely on various social media platforms. Subsequently, Karan posted pictures from the various ceremonies on his own social media accounts.
