Sushmita Sen is all set to make a powerful comeback with an impactful role in Ravi Jadhav's 'Taali.' The makers of the show unveiled the official trailer of 'Taali' starring the lead actress in the role of the bold transgender activist Shreegauri Sawant. Earlier, Sushmita Sen unveiled the teaser of 'Taali' and announced the trailer release date of the same. 'Taali' will stream on the JioCinema from August 15 for free.
Sushmita Sen shared the trailer release date by wiping the words of the show from glass, revealing the face of Gauri aka Sushmita Sen. Releasing the trailer of the show on Instagram, Sushmita Sen wrote, "Gauri aa gayi hai. Apne swabhimaan, sammaan aur swatantrata ki kahaani lekar. #Taali - Bajayenge nahi, bajwayenge!"

In the trailer, Sushmita Sen can be seen essaying the role of Gauri, and is set to conquer the legal rights of transgenders in India. It gives a sneak peek at the courageous quest filled with struggles, resilience, and triumph. The trailer begins with an intense voice-over where she introduces herself as Shreegauri Sawant and tells about her journey of becoming 'Gauri' from 'Ganesh.'

The show is created and produced by Kartk D Nishandar and Arjun Singh Baran. 'Taali' is directed by Ravi Jadhav and written by Kshitij Patwardhan. The biopic is set to shed light on the inspiring life of Shreegauri Sawant and her childhood, transition, and her contribution to revolutionizing the transgender movement in India.
