Thangalaan Hindi Release Date: Following a stellar response and massive success in Tamil, Thangalaan is set to make its Hindi debut. Directed by Pa. Ranjith and featuring Chiyaan Vikram alongside Malavika Mohanan, the period drama has received rave reviews and enthusiastic fan reactions. After dominating the box office in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam since its August 15 release, the film's strong demand from northern exhibitors has led to its Hindi release. Thangalaan is scheduled to hit Hindi theaters on August 30.

Thangalaan: Storyline
Thangalaan presents a distinctive narrative that has captivated audiences with its innovative approach. This mystical period drama features Malavika Mohanan as a tribal leader with supernatural abilities, who faces off against Chiyaan Vikram's character. Set against the backdrop of the Kolar Gold Fields (KGF) during the British colonial era, Thangalaan brings to light the exploitation and plundering of these gold fields by the British.
In 1850 CE, Thangalaan, a respected village chief in Veppur, recounts a tale of Aarathi, a sorceress who protected the land. Facing exploitation by the zamindar and British officer Lord Clement, Thangalaan embarks on a perilous quest for gold. Despite supernatural challenges and past-life revelations, he ultimately discovers a gold vein and secures it for his community, reclaiming the land from foreign exploitation.
