The sudden drop-out of popular Korean boyband THE BOYZ from the 2025 Seoul Festa line-up has disappointed fans. The band, which was initially announced as part of the concert line-up, has been removed from it now. This has led to assumptions of a reported feud between One Hundred Label – the company overseeing THE BOYZ, as well as subsidiaries like VIVIZ’s Big Planet Made (BPM Entertainment) and EXO-CBX’s INB100, and major Korean broadcasting networks, including SBS and KBS. Reportedly, THE BOYZ's label is currently involved in a dispute with the Korean broadcasting networks. Due to this, EXO-CBX’s Xiumin could not perform on music shows like Inkigayo, and Lee Mujin was pulled from recordings. Fans have connected the dots, seeing this latest incident of THE BOYZ suddenly dropping out from the previously released line-up for the 2025 Seoul Festa.
THE BOYZ were officially named as performers for the Seoul Festa. In a previous post by Seoul Festa on X, the band was included in the line-up. However, after the company’s feud emerged online, their name disappeared from the latest post about the concert line-up. Since 2022, THE BOYZ has performed at the event every year, and it seems that KBS is in charge of filming the festival. The ongoing feud could be the reason behind their abrupt removal, according to a Koreaboo report.
