Akshay Kumar Missing From Gadar 2 Success Party: Sunny Deol recently hosted a lavish party to celebrate the success of 'Gadar 2.' The Bollywood star extended invitations to a wide array of prominent figures from the Hindi film industry. The movie, based on Crush India Movement, has already achieved the remarkable feat of joining the Rs 500-crore club. This event brought together numerous iconic Bollywood stars for a nostalgic reunion, including Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgn, and other actors who made their mark in the 90s.
Actor Akshay Kumar, who starred in 'OMG 2,' was notably absent from the 'Gadar 2' success celebration. The reason for his absence is that he is currently engaged in filming 'Sky Force' in Lucknow, preventing him from attending the gathering.
According to a report by India Today, a source revealed, "Akshay has been busy shooting for 'Sky Force' in Lucknow. Though he missed the party, Kumar sent his warm regards to Sunny over a phone call."
Akshay Kumar's movie 'OMG 2' was released in direct competition with Sunny Deol's 'Gadar 2' on August 11, at the cinema. 'OMG 2' has been directed by Amit Rai, while Anil Sharma directed Sunny's film 'Gadar 2'.
The 'Gadar 2' success celebration was marked by several memorable moments, including a heartfelt reunion between SRK and Sunny. Additionally, numerous Bollywood stars graced the event, including Varun Dhawan, Kartik Aaryan, Ananya Panday, Sara Ali Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Kriti Sanon, Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani, Shahid Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Abhishek Bachchan, and many others.

'Gadar 2' is a sequel to the highly acclaimed 'Gadar: Ek Prem Katha,' which was released in 2001. The original film was set against the backdrop of the 1947 Indian Partition and starred Sunny Deol as Tara Singh, a truck driver, and Ameesha Patel as Sakeena. In 'Gadar 2,' the character Tara Singh embarks on a daring mission to cross the border in order to rescue his son, played by Utkarsh Sharma, who is being held captive in Pakistan.
