Triptii Dimri's 20-minute role in the film Animal has proven to be a game-changer for her career. Despite already delivering critically acclaimed performances in lead roles in Bulbul and Qala, Triptii's phone hadn't been ringing off the hook with new project offers. However, her extended cameo in Animal caught the industry's attention, landing her a slew of exciting projects, including Bad Newz, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Dhadak 2, and Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video.

Triptii's surge in popularity has also made her the nation's latest crush, with fans showering her with admiration and affection on social media. In a recent magazine interview, Triptii revealed the amusing side of her newfound fame, sharing that she's been receiving an influx of marriage proposals in her DMs. She confessed, "I've been getting quite a few marriage proposals in my DMs lately, which I find pretty strange!"

Triptii revealed that her relatives told her parents that she would never get married if she entered into films. She said, “I’m from Uttarakhand but was born and raised in Delhi, where my parents and family still live. Some people in society, including family members, said hurtful things to my parents, like, ‘Why did you let your daughter enter this profession? She’ll be influenced by the wrong crowd, make bad decisions, and no one will want to marry her.’”

Triptii Dimri was last seen in Bad Newz. The film, released theatrically on July 19, 2024, has achieved remarkable commercial success, grossing an impressive ₹115.74 crore (US$14 million) worldwide. Produced on a budget of ₹80 crore (US$9.6 million), the movie has not only recovered its production costs but also emerged as the seventh highest-grossing Hindi film of 2024.

The actress is gearing up for the release of Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video which will hit the theatres on October 11, 2024.
