UI OTT Release Update: Upendra Rao and Reeshma Nanaiah starrer sci-fi dystopian action Kannada movie could not make a mark at the box office. The movie was reportedly made on a budget of Rs 150 crore but collected Rs 32.7 crore after 18 days of release, which led to a big loss for the film. But for quite some time there were speculations that the movie would be released on the popular South OTT platform Sun NXT. Now, one of the makers of the film has reacted to the rumours and finally spoke about the ott release of the film.
UI OTT Release Update
Sreekanth Kp, who is one of the producer of UI, stated that UI won’t be releasing on the popular South OTT platform Sun NXT (which was reported earlier). He wrote in his statement, “We have noticed some false news circulating on social media and other platforms claiming that the OTT rights for UI: The Movie has been acquired by Sun NXT. We want to clarify that this is FAKE NEWS. The official announcement regarding OTT rights and other updates will be made exclusively by the UI team.”
“Please refrain from believing or spreading such rumours. Stay tuned to our official channels for all authentic updates.” He captioned the post, “🚫 Say NO to rumors! 🚫 The news about OTT rights for #UiTheMovie is fake. Official announcements will ONLY be shared on our verified platforms. Stay tuned!”
