Urvashi Rautela made the headlines with unusual remarks during promotional interviews. Additionally her song, Dabidi Dibidi created an uproar with its outrageous dance moves. After being silent for some time, the actress has finally reacted to the controversy surrounding the viral song featuring Nandamuri Balakrishna.
Even while Daaku Maharaaj was a box office hit, the song Dabidi Dibidi received harsh criticism for its dance. Urvashi Rautela acknowledged in an interview that no one on their team had expected the song to receive such negative feedback.
Urvashi Rautela reacted to the criticism in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter India. She revealed that the song was written for Nandamuri Balakrishna's fans. As a result, their thinking was the main emphasis of every step, audio, and other element.
She said, "It wasn't like I was shocked or doing something completely out of the ordinary. During rehearsals, everything was smooth and under control. But honestly, everything happened so suddenly that it's been hard to assess why people are talking about the choreography in this way."
"Since day one, I have always made sure to keep my identity and professionalism separate. Whatever constructive criticism comes my way, I make sure it doesn't overshadow my passion and enthusiasm. I always embrace constructive criticism as an artist and remain mindful of my work," Urvashi Rautela added

Urvashi Rautela believed that there was 'nothing wrong' with the song's choreography. "When you talk about my choreography, it's actually very simple. There's nothing wrong with it. In fact, if you just focus on me in the frame, you'll see that it's really fantastic," she continued.
S. Thaman's song Dabidi Dibidi was criticised for its 'vulgar' and 'cringe' movements. Nandamuri Balakrishna was dragging Urvashi Rautela up by her dress and pounding her belly button in time with the music in the video. The 64-year-old actor was seen striking the actress on the hips later in the song.
