Veera Dheera Sooran Box Office Collection Day 1: Chiyaan Vikram and Dushara Vijayan starrer Tamil action thriller hit the silver screens on March 27 in Tamil and Telugu languages. The film faced several challenges as the morning shows were cancelled in several locations. The makers of the film had a legal dispute with Mumbai-based production company B4U over the movie’s digital rights. However, things sorted out after the matter went to the Delhi High Court. Both parties agreed to a mutual agreement and the film was then released at noon. Moreover, the film had a box office clash with Mohanlal’s Malayalam movie L2 Empuraan, which released nationwide. Despite not having morning shows and having a box office clash, the movie managed to earn a decent amount at the ticket windows. The weekend collection will decide the fate of the movie. 

Veera Dheera Sooran Box Office Collection Day 1

As per Sacnilk, Veera Dheera Sooran collected Rs 3.25 crore on the opening day. The film had 22.91 per cent Tamil occupancy on Thursday. It had 14.66 per cent occupancy in the afternoon shows, 21.14 per cent in the evening shows and 40.54 per cent in the night shows. On the other hand, it had 14.15 per cent Telugu occupancy on Thursday. The movie had 12.22 per cent occupancy in the afternoon shows, 14.94 per cent in the evening shows and 16.37 per cent in the night shows.

As per reports, the film was made on a budget of Rs 55 crore. 

About Veera Dheera Sooran 

The story is about a provision store owner named Kaali, who is a loving husband and a father. But his life turned upside down after he get involved in a dangerous crime network. He then embarks in a mysterious mission that unfolds several hidden knots. The film has been made a two part movie. Notably, the film is considered to be the second part. Whereas, its prequel will be released later. The movie stars Chiyaan Vikram, Dushara Vijayan, SJ Surya, Suraj Venjaramoodu and Siddique in key roles. It has been directed by Arun Kumar and produced by Riya Shibu.
