Vettaiyan Twitter Review: Directed by TJ Gnanavel, the action drama featuring an impressive cast, including Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Dushara Vijayan, Ritika Singh, Manju Warrier, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Abhirami, Rakshan, Rohini, Rao Ramesh, and Ramesh Thilak. The film's score is composed by Anirudh Ravichander and it marks Rajinikanth’s 70th film. Vettaiyan is available in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Malayalam, and had its premiere in the US last night.

Fans started gathering at theaters the night before to kick off the festivities for Vettaiyan. The celebrations are lively, adorned with huge cutouts, banners, and spectacular fireworks, all reflecting the joy and devotion for their beloved Superstar. Special screenings in packed theaters have fans cheering, dancing, and throwing confetti each time Rajinikanth appears on screen. Social media is alive with fan tributes, videos, and heartfelt messages, demonstrating their deep admiration for his performance. Those who have seen the film are now sharing their reviews.

Vettaiyan is particularly noteworthy as it marks the reunion of Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan after 33 years, with their last collaboration being the Hindi film Hum in 1991. According to trade tracker Sacnilk, the film generated ₹15.22 crore from advance bookings in India. The Tamil version alone accounted for ₹13.78 crore, while the Telugu and Hindi versions contributed ₹1.25 crore and ₹17.40 lakh, respectively. Reportedly, Vettaiyan has been produced on a budget of ₹300 crore. The technical team includes cinematographer S. R. Kathir and editor Philomin Raj. Originally scheduled to release on October 10, coinciding with Suriya's Kanguva, producer Gnanavel Raja has postponed Vettaiyan to November 14.
