When asked about his personal life at the trailer launch of his upcoming film Bad Newz, Vicky Kaushal responded to the circulating rumours about his wife Katrina Kaif being pregnant. Vicky Kaushal’s latest film, Bad Newz, promises a unique romantic comedy experience, co-starring Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk. The plot revolves around a rare medical phenomenon called heteropaternal superfecundation, where two different sperm cells fertilize two separate eggs during the same menstrual cycle, resulting in a woman becoming pregnant by two different men simultaneously.

During the trailer launch event in Mumbai, Vicky unveiled the film's trailer and addressed the pregnancy rumours. Recently, a video from London sparked speculation that Vicky and Katrina might be expecting their first child.

When asked about the 'good news' in his real life, Vicky humorously said, “Abhi ke liye aap bad newz enjoy kar lo, jo hum la rahe hain. Jab uska (good news) time aayega, we won't be shying away from giving that news.” This clever response suggested that the couple is not currently expecting a child but will not hesitate to share such news when the time comes. The trailer of Bad Newz also contains a reference to Katrina, which she hadn't seen before the launch. Vicky mentioned that he had only hinted to her about her part in the trailer, leaving her curious and confused.

Directed by Anand Tiwari, who previously worked with Vicky on Love Per Square Foot, Bad Newz is set to hit theaters on July 19, 2024.
