Vicky Kaushal, known for his versatile acting and charismatic presence, recently shared his thoughts on stardom, comparing past icons like Dilip Kumar, Rajesh Khanna, and Amitabh Bachchan to present-day stars like Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan. In a conversation with GQ India, the actor expressed that he couldn't relate to Hrithik Roshan's level of stardom, considering it a phenomenon that impacted everyone.

Kaushal candidly discussed the evolving nature of stardom, noting that the classic definition of being a star has shifted. He highlighted how the kind of popularity stars like Dilip Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan enjoyed differs from the contemporary fame experienced by actors like Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan. According to Kaushal, the current generation faces a unique challenge in achieving stardom due to the transient nature of fame in today's fast-paced digital age. He candidly mentioned that Hrithik Roshan is the 'last person' to experience stardom in its real sense.

Despite his growing popularity and critical acclaim, Kaushal humbly admitted that he has not yet achieved the kind of stardom he envisions. He believes true stardom is measured by the number of people who come to watch a film solely for the actor, independent of other factors like trailers or songs. Kaushal expressed his aspiration to reach this level of stardom in the future.

Fans eagerly anticipate Kaushal's upcoming projects, including 'Chhaava', a period drama directed by Laxman Utekar, where he stars alongside Rashmika Mandanna. He is also set to appear in a yet-untitled production venture by Karan Johar, opposite Tripti Dimri. Additionally, audiences can look forward to seeing him in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Love & War', alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
