The actor, known for his roles in various films and web series, opened up about his family's diverse religious backgrounds, stating that while his father, Jolly Massey, is a devout Christian who attends church regularly, his mother, Meena Massey, is Sikh.
Vikrant candidly discussed the reactions within his family when his brother chose to convert, highlighting the supportive environment that allowed Moeen to make this significant decision. "My family let him change his religion," Vikrant said. "They said, 'Beta, if you find satisfaction in this, then go ahead.'" He also shared that this experience led him to question the nature of religion, describing it as a "man-made" construct.

However, Jolly Massey stood by his son's choice, asserting that it was a personal decision and not subject to others' opinions. Vikrant admired his father's unwavering support, stating, "He is my son, he is only answerable to me and has all the rights to choose what he wants."
Vikrant's revelations provide a glimpse into the complexities of religious identity and family dynamics.
