Actor Vikrant Massey has shared his experience of receiving threats for his role in The Sabarmati Report, a film that brings to light the controversial Godhra train burning incident from 2002. The film, which explores this sensitive historical event, has sparked national conversations and, unfortunately, some backlash against the actor.

During a media interaction at the film’s trailer launch in Mumbai, Vikrant opened up about the threats he has been receiving. He stated, "Ji Haan aaye hai or Aa rahe hai (Yes, I have been receiving threats). But as I said, hum kalakar hai or Kahaniyaan bolte hai (We are artists and we tell stories). This film is purely based on facts. It is something that I am dealing with, or we as a team collectively are dealing with, and I think we will handle it the way it needs to be."
