Vikrant Massey recently shared a heartfelt appreciation for his co-star Taapsee Pannu, highlighting a special gesture she made for his son, Vardaan. The actor in a conversation with News18 revealed the touching moment ahead of his upcoming film, Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, which is set to release on Netflix on August 9. Vikrant and his wife, Sheetal Thakur, welcomed their baby boy, Vardaan, in February 2023. Reflecting on the support from friends and colleagues, Vikrant fondly recalled how Taapsee Pannu was one of the first to visit and bless his son. “It was a Sunday, and she drove all the way to my home. That was really wonderful,” he said, describing her gesture as "truly special."

Vikrant praised Taapsee for her genuine kindness and strength of character. “There’s no one on this earth who can bully Taapsee. Jokes aside, she’s genuinely sweet and kind," he added, emphasizing their strong bond.

In Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, Vikrant reunites with Taapsee in a sequel that explores the lives of Rani and Rishu. The film, also featuring Sunny Kaushal as Abhimanyu, delves into their struggles to escape a troubled past while facing new challenges. Vikrant reflected on the film's themes, stating, “While the early stages of romance are exciting, true long-term relationships require settling down. Finding peace in each other is crucial. The more serene the love, the better it is."

Vikrant's career has been on an upward trajectory since the success of Haseen Dillruba in 2018. He recently garnered acclaim for his role in 12th Fail. Despite the accolades, Vikrant remains grounded. “I cherish every compliment and positive response. It’s what I work hard for. My family and I celebrate a good film for a bit, and I’m always eager for the audience’s feedback—good or bad. Constructive feedback is always appreciated," he shared.

Reflecting on his personal growth, Vikrant said, “I’ve learned to distinguish between constructive criticism and baseless negativity. If I receive repeated feedback from the public, I take it seriously and reflect on it."
