Titled 'The Sabarmati Report,' the movie centres around the tragic events of February 27, 2002, when a frenzied mob set ablaze a bogie of the Sabarmati Express leaving from Godhra station in Gujarat. The incident resulted in the loss of 59 lives, all of whom were returning from Ayodhya. The aftermath saw widespread riots across Gujarat, leaving an indelible mark on the nation's history.
