Rhea Chakraborty Breaks Silence On Cyber Hate: Actor Rhea Chakraborty recently provided a glimpse into her life following the tragic passing of her boyfriend, actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Rhea, who endured intense media scrutiny and faced unprecedented backlash after Sushant's untimely death, opened up about the hurtful comments and false narratives that were circulated about her by numerous people.
In a fresh teaser for the upcoming season 19 of 'MTV Roadies', a reality show targeted at young audiences, Rhea is seen engaging in a conversation with a contestant who shares her own personal challenges. As the contestant opens up, Rhea attentively listens to her story and then gets motivated to speak about her own experiences, boldly addressing those who had unfairly branded her with different labels.
“A lot of people say a lot of things. People have told me a lot of things as well… The kind of names they gave me, the things they said about me. But kya main unki wajah se woh cheez manugi (should I accept what was being said about me)? Kya main unke wajah se apne life mein rukungi? Bilkul bhi nahi… (Because of them, will I stop living my life? Not at all).”
The actress advised the female participant to trust her instincts and disregard the negative opinions of others, sharing that she has applied the same principle in her own life. Rhea emphasised the importance of staying true to one's own voice, stating that she personally does not give any significance to the voices of detractors. She encouraged the contestant to do the same and not let such opinions affect her, boldly questioning the identity and relevance of those individuals.
She said, "Will I give any importance to their voice? No. I have my own voice, and so do you. You listen to that and actually to hell with them. Kaun hai woh (who are these people anyway)?"

Following Sushant's demise, Rhea faced an intense media trial characterised by relentless persecution, as she was accused of various serious offenses including drug peddling, money laundering, and abetting the alleged suicide of the late actor. This resulted in her arrest and subsequent confinement in Byculla jail, Mumbai, where she spent close to a month in judicial custody.
After her appearance in the 2021 movie ‘Chehre,’ alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Emraan Hashmi, Krystle D'Souza, Siddhanth Kapoor, and Annu Kapoor, Rhea Chakraborty has now returned to the screen with MTV Roadies. This youth-based reality show is her first project since her release from custody.
