When BTS' Jungkook Survived On Water-Only Diet During 'Butter' Shoot: The South Korean music industry has a huge fan base, particularly for popular bands like BTS, BLACKPINK, EXO, and others. However, K-Pop idols often face criticism for promoting unrealistic beauty standards. To maintain his physique for a music video, BTS member Jungkook once disclosed that he relied solely on water for sustenance for a period of five days!

Jungkook, the youngest member of the South Korean boy band, made his debut in the music industry at the age of 15 and has since become one of the most prominent and influential K-Pop stars globally.

Jungkook has always been a foodie and is often seen hogging delicacies during interviews and live streams. He even once revealed his favourite noodle recipe with the BTS fan ARMY. However, while shooting their hit track Butter, the K-Pop star ate nothing and drank only water for five days to stay in shape. For the unversed, Butter received a Grammy nomination.

According to Koreaboo, Jungkook, along with his fellow band members, confirmed his diet while shooting Butter, during an interview. While discussing their music video, Left and Right, he divulged, "I didn’t eat at all for five days during that time." J-Hope immediately noticed and remarked, "You really don’t have any cheek fat."

Jungkook revealed, "I only drank water for five days," adding to which, V said, "Wow water for five days!" Jungkook's disclosure sparked concerns among his fans regarding his health, with one fan expressing, "That’s really amazing but I hope he will eat at least one meal a day."

Another user remarked, "I hope he will eat at least one meal. My heart breaks for him." A third commented, "How can he do that? It must have been so hard for him. It’s not easy being an idol," while a fourth added, "As the video's shoot came to an end, the singer reportedly fed himself well."
