Kajol's Kissing Scene With Alyy Khan In The Trial: Bollywood star Kajol has been making waves in the news recently for a remarkable departure from her longstanding on-screen no-kissing stance. This unexpected decision took place during the shooting of her latest Disney+ Hotstar web series, 'The Trial,' signifying a major transformation in her career after nearly three decades. 'The Trial' premiered on OTT on July 14.

'The Trial' is the official adaptation of the renowned American series 'The Good Wife' and has been produced by Kajol's husband, actor Ajay Devgn. The series chronicles the story of a homemaker who resumes her career as a lawyer after her husband becomes entangled in a sex' scandal.

The show has been drawing considerable attention, not just for its captivating storyline, but also due to Kajol's surprising choice to break her no-kissing rule on screen. In fact, her kissing clips have also gone viral on various social media platforms.

However, did you know that in an old interview, British-Pakistani actor Alyy Khan, who played the character of Vishal, Kajol's ex-boyfriend in the series, in an old interview had opened up on 'enjoying' kissing his 'crush' Kajol.

In a podcast with Pakistani YouTuber Nadir Ali, Alyy admitted that he had a huge 'crush' on Kajol since the 90s and had always yearned to work with her. Finally, the opportunity presented itself with 'The Trial'. Recollecting the specific kissing scene, the 54-year-old actor disclosed, " Toh iss saal Kajol ke saath kaam karne ka mauka mila as her boyfriend, jismein kissing scene bhi tha. Ek smooch tha, french kiss tha, according to the script (So, this year I got the chance to work with Kajol as her boyfriend, which included a kissing scene. It was a smooch, a French kiss, as per the script)."

Alyy also mentioned that prior to filming the kissing scene, he and Kajol had discussed the shot. The director even opted to shoot the sequence in a closed room, with only a few crew members present, to ensure that both actors felt at ease. The 'Don 2' star also shared some insights into the web series, particularly regarding the events leading up to the kiss.

Furthermore, the kiss between Alyy and Kajol was hot during a period when Ajay was not on the set. Nevertheless, Alyy assured that the scene was handled with utmost professionalism. They had also rehearsed the scene 3-4 times beforehand, eliminating the need for any retakes.

He said, "Ek paise ki sharmindagi, ya embarrassment, ya hichkichana, kuch nahin. Itne professional tareeke se woh shoot hua hai. Aur jab humne shoot kar liya kyunki 3-4 baar humne rehearse kiya kiss ka, itni perfect tareeke se shoot hua ki humne shot diya aur hum dono monitor pe aaye aur dono objectively dekh rahe hain (There's no embarrassment or hesitation over a mere penny's worth. The scene was shot so professionally. After rehearsing the kiss 3-4 times, we filmed it in such a flawless manner that when we watched it on the monitor, both of us objectively observed it)."

"Aur maine usko kaha (I asked her), 'Tu khush? You are happy? Ya, I think I like it.' Kajol ne mujhe kaha (Kajol told me), 'Thank you, my darling.' Toh usmein koi aisi 'sexual vibe hi nahin thi bilkul professionalism boss (So, there was absolutely no 'sexual vibe in that, just pure professionalism, boss)," he added.
