In an exciting development for Kdrama enthusiasts, South Korean stars Park Bo Gum and Bae Suzy are set to captivate audiences with their remarkable chemistry in the upcoming sci-fi fantasy film Wonderland. The film is directed by Kim Tae-yong and marks the first collaboration between the two beloved actors, promising a fresh and compelling narrative.
Scheduled to hit the big screens on June 5, Wonderland revolves around an intriguing concept—an Artificial Intelligence service of the same name that allows users to "reconstruct" their deceased loved ones. The teaser trailer has already generated significant buzz, with viewers eagerly anticipating the on-screen magic that Park Bo Gum and Bae Suzy are expected to deliver.
Ace Maker Movie Works recently unveiled the new stills from the film, further stoking the curiosity of fans. In one image, Bae Suzy, portraying the character Jung-in, is seen watching Park Bo-gum's character Tae-joo with a joyful smile at a dinner table. Another image captures a poignant moment as Suzy embraces Bo-gum tightly in a hospital setting, her expression filled with concern and emotion.
Bo-gum also shines in a solo still, exuding charm and warmth as he interacts with the camera against the backdrop of medical equipment. The final image showcases the duo sharing a tender moment inside a public transport, their eyes locked in a gaze filled with love and affection.

The storyline of Wonderland promises to be a rollercoaster of emotions, as Jung-in embarks on a journey filled with longing, confusion, and happiness after reconstructing her partner Tae-joo through the Wonderland service. Bo-gum's portrayal of Tae-joo, a character who finds himself in a surreal half-alive, half-dead state, adds a layer of complexity to the narrative. As Tae-joo awakens in a hospital bed, he must navigate a world that feels unfamiliar, blending in with reality while dealing with his own confusion.
Director Kim Tae-yong praised the on-screen chemistry between Bae Suzy and Park Bo-gum, noting that they worked together with great consideration and respect, further enhancing their performances. Wonderland also features an ensemble cast including Tang Wei, Choi Woo-shik, Gong Yoo, and Jung Yu-mi, promising a cinematic experience that will leave a lasting impact on audiences.
