Olivia Munn, known for her roles in 'X-Men: Apocalypse' and 'Magic Mike', has recently revealed her battle with breast cancer. In an Instagram post, the 43-year-old actress shared that she was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent a double mastectomy. Olivia expressed her gratitude towards her doctors and emphasized the importance of calculating one's risk assessment.

Despite receiving a negative result for all 90 different cancer genes in a genetic test she took in February 2023, Olivia's doctor decided to calculate her Breast Cancer Risk Assessment Score, which ultimately "saved my life," she wrote. After recording a high score, Olivia underwent imaging tests and a biopsy, which revealed an aggressive form of cancer in both breasts. She underwent a double mastectomy just 30 days after the biopsy and has since undergone four surgeries in the past 10 months.

Olivia kept her diagnosis private until now, stating that she needed time to process and get through the difficult parts before sharing her journey. She thanked her family and friends, particularly her partner, comedian John Mulaney, for their unwavering support throughout her treatment. Olivia shared that John would place framed photos of their son, Malcolm, by her side before and after each surgery.
