Yash fans are eagerly awaiting the release of the third installment of his blockbuster franchise 'KGF'. The Kannada superstar will reportedly begin shooting for the movie next year as director Prashanth Neel is awaiting the release of his magnum opus 'Salaar', which will hit the theatres ahead of Christmas on December 22, this year.
KGF 3 To Release In 2025?
According to a report in India Today, 'KGF 3' will be released in 2025. A source informed the publication, “Yash-starrer KGF 3 is looking at mid-2025 or end of 2025 for release date. The actor will begin shooting for the film next year-end. With this, Hombale Films will have one big release each year. They have booked Salaar for December-end this year and are looking at going massive with KGF 3 in 2025.”
A spokesperson of Hombale Films told PTI, “On the fifth anniversary of ‘KGF’ on December 21, we will announce the release plan of ‘KGF 3’. The initial round of discussion between the director, producer and actor for ‘KGF 3’ has happened and a storyline has been discussed. The shoot will begin in October 2024 and the film release in 2025. An official announcement about the release of ‘KGF 3’ will be made in December this year.”
The spokesperson further said, “We have ‘Salaar 2’ with Prabhas, ‘Kantara 2’ with Rishab Shetty and ‘Tyson’ with Prithviraj Sukumaran.”
