The AgriStack Farmer ID has been made mandatory for all farmers to avail benefits under government schemes in Gurugram. Farmers will be eligible for government assistance only after obtaining this ID. To create awareness and facilitate registrations, departmental teams are organising camps in all villages of the district.

Deputy Commissioner Ajay Kumar said that in the coming days, benefits such as bank loans, PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, crop compensation, fertilisers and seeds, as well as various agriculture-related subsidy schemes, will be provided exclusively through the AgriStack Farmer ID.

He explained that the primary objective of the Farmer ID is to establish a secure and verified identity for farmers and ensure direct access to government services. 

For registration, farmers must carry an Aadhaar card linked to a mobile number, a copy of the “Meri Fasal Mera Byora” registration of the previous crop, or relevant land ownership documents.

Farmers also have the option to register themselves for the AgriStack Farmer ID through the designated process.
