The Gurugram Municipal Corporation (MCG) has decided to take strict action against Bulk Waste Generators (BWGs) who have failed to pay fines issued for violating the Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016. The corporation has now issued a final warning to all such establishments.

The MCG administration has clearly instructed all concerned BWGs to pay their outstanding fines by September 8, 2025, without fail. After payment, the receipt must be submitted to the corporation's office.

FIRs To Be Filed Against Defaulters For Non-Payment

The corporation has warned that if the fines are not deposited by the specified date, strict punitive action will be taken against the defaulters. This includes not only additional financial penalties but also the filing of an FIR under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code, 1860. The concerned BWG will be held fully responsible for the legal consequences.

According to Colonel Sanjay Pandey, Chief Officer of the Citizen Facilitation Center, the fine amount can be paid at the old office of the Gurugram Municipal Corporation, as well as at the Citizen Facilitation Centers (CFCs) located in Sector-34 and Sector-42.
