The face of the prime Sector-43, located on Golf Course Road, is now set to change, with its appearance expected to be completely transformed in the coming three months.

The Municipal Corporation has initiated large-scale work to repair all major roads and the drainage system in the sector. According to information, several estimates have been approved:

- An estimate of approximately Rs 2.10 crore has been approved for the renovation of the 18-metre and 24-metre wide roads. The tender process for this has been completed.

- All roads in the Tulsi Park block will be constructed with RMC concrete, for which a sum of approximately 1.40 crore rupees has been sanctioned.

- An estimate of Rs 1.60 crore has also been approved for rainwater drainage (drain construction). The work allocation process is underway following the opening of tenders.

- Additionally, estimates of approximately Rs 2.30 crore for bituminous roads in other blocks are ready, and their approval process is ongoing.

Problems Caused By Dilapidated Roads

The condition of the roads in Sector-43 had been extremely poor for a long time. Potholes and broken paths everywhere had made it difficult for people to move around, and the sanitation system was also being affected by the broken roads.

Regarding this issue, RWA General Secretary Narendra Mehta, local resident Rajkumar Yadav, and several others met with Municipal Councillor Vikas Yadav to demand improvements. Taking swift action on these demands, the Municipal Councillor had estimates prepared by officials and completed the approval process.

Now, tenders for most of the works have been issued, and their construction is set to begin in the next few weeks.
