A series of road accidents in Gurugram district over the last 24 hours has resulted in the deaths of three individuals and injuries to six others, including a married couple. The incidents occurred within the jurisdictions of the Gurugram Sadar, Sector-37, and Farukhnagar police stations.

Following post-mortem examinations, the police handed over the bodies to the victims' relatives on Thursday. Cases have been registered, and investigations are currently underway.

Fatal Accidents

1. Death at Subhash Chowk Underpass (Sadar Police Station)

The Incident: At approximately 1:30 am, a speeding Kia car struck a motorcycle from behind in the Subhash Chowk underpass.

The Victim: 32-year-old Gaurav, a resident of Krishna Nagar, Delhi. He owned a workshop named Keshav Steel Industries in Shahdara.

Gaurav was riding his motorcycle alongside a Porter taxi driven by Rakesh, a resident of Shahdara. They were en route to Sohna to deliver a wardrobe loaded in the taxi.

Outcome: Gaurav was rushed to a private hospital where he was declared dead.

2. Hit-and-Run at Narsinghpur Flyover (Sector-37)

The Incident: On Wednesday evening, an unknown vehicle hit a pedestrian crossing the road near the Narsinghpur flyover.

The Victim: 50-year-old Naresh Kumar, a resident of Prem Mohalla in Nuh. It is reported that he had come to Gurugram for work.

Outcome: Family members identified the body after being informed by the police. A case has been registered against the unknown driver.

3. Pickup Driver Killed In Farukhnagar

The Incident: Around 8:00 pm on Wednesday, a man was hit by an unknown vehicle while crossing the road near the Farukhnagar police station.

The Victim: 27-year-old Vikas, originally from Paraiya village in Etah district, Uttar Pradesh.

Context: Vikas worked as a pickup truck driver in Gurugram. He had stepped out of his vehicle for some work when the accident occurred.

Injuries And Other Incidents

1. Bus Collision on Delhi-Gurugram Expressway

Location: Opposite the mosque near Rajiv Chowk, heading towards Kherki Daula.

The Incident: A truck braked suddenly, causing a private bus full of passengers trailing behind it to collide with the truck.

Casualties: Four passengers sustained minor injuries. They were discharged from the hospital after treatment.

Impact: Traffic was disrupted for some time until the traffic police moved the bus to the side of the road. No police report was filed for this incident.

2. Road Rage Incident in DLF Phase 1

The Incident: On Wednesday at 9:00 am, Bijender (a resident of Gwal Pahari) and his wife Kajal were travelling to Sector 15 on a motorcycle.

The Altercation: A Bolero driver was driving recklessly and nearly hit them. When they stopped at the Sikandarpur Bristol Chowki red light, Bijender asked the driver to drive carefully. 

The Assault: When the light turned green, the Bolero driver allegedly rammed into their motorcycle from behind intentionally.

Injuries: Both fell onto the road. Kajal sustained a fractured leg. Both were admitted to a private hospital.
