The Election Commission has issued show cause notices to seven Booth Level Officers (BLOs) from the Beliaghata constituency in Kolkata. The notices were issued citing flaws in the digitisation process of the enumeration forms under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) drive.

Notices Regarding Incomplete Work

According to an official from the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer of West Bengal, the notices address the improper and incomplete digitization of the collected enumeration forms. The BLOs have been directed to explain why they failed to properly execute the tasks assigned to them.
