A horrific head-on collision between a private school bus and a car occurred on the Sanjarpur-Tankri road on Tuesday afternoon. The impact resulted in the immediate death of both young men traveling in the car, while six children on the bus sustained injuries.

Fatal Collision Near Sanjarpur Village

The accident triggered chaos and panic among the students. Upon receiving the news, police and anxious parents rushed to the site. The bodies of the deceased have been taken into custody and shifted to a hospital in Bawal for further formalities.

The victims have been identified as 22-year-old Nitin and 26-year-old Sachin, both residents of Jaitrawas village. The news of their sudden demise has cast a pall of gloom over their native village.

Impact And Rescue Efforts

According to reports, the bus belonged to Gyandeep School in Mohanpur and was returning home after school hours with approximately 30 children on board. While traveling from Sanjarpur toward Tankri, the bus collided violently with an oncoming car.

The collision was so severe that the car was flung off the road and crashed into a tree. While the two youths in the car died on the spot, six injured children were rushed to the hospital in Bawal for medical treatment.

The police have kept the bodies in the mortuary of the Bawal Community Health Center (CHC) for post-mortem examinations. A case has been registered against the bus driver and an investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
